rev:text	Beware of this group. After giving us an extremely lowball bid estimate that made the commercial project feasible, they delayed and delayed until it was too late and we lost 5 grand in useless plans and completely failed to give us go no go points, explanations and professional guidance. When it came in the costs were wildly off, well over twice the initial ball park. They took no responsibility and gave us the blame. If I treated my patients like they treated up they would all be sick or dead. We received a call from the owner expecting some explanation or apology, but he just doubled down. He's clearly more into his worker friends Victor and Nick, who screwed up badly, than he was open to learn about the problems with his company and why he was losing about $100,000 in our two jobs. Excuses and blame instead of performance, Design Builders is all about themselves. I'm a guy but I know what it's like now to be a battered wife and blamed for the beating. We had residential bid out with too. We're about four months out on that one and yet to receive a phone call back. The building season is over. We started in the early spring. I guess they were just not into us. The difference between boys and men is boys have to be pestered and prompted while men take total responsibility. Design Builders are just a group of big boys with toys focused on themselves with no sense of professional ethics or professional conduct. The best I could imagine is they can't handle their work load which speaks badly for contractors. Don't get burned. They interview well but if they miss their first deadline, believe it is a warning about more bad things to come.
