I now understand why this location has such a low rating. It isn't worth the extra couple of minutes to drive to this one. After my first bad experience I figured I better wait to review and see if it gets better on a different day. That did not happen. First experience was on a Sunday and they were out of 75% of the bagels by 10am. Thought that was kind of odd. And the service was slow and mediocre, at best.
So now we come to Friday, Oct 2nd. The only thing that saved this from being 1 star was the absolutely great customer service from the girl at the register. She was friendly, knowledgeable and apologetic (which she shouldn't have to be). Was not acknowledged walking in. There were people waiting all over the place. Looked like only two workers(on a Friday morning at 7am!) and a very scowl-faced looking manager. Disappointing to see a manager like that in front of customers. You should know better. Their grab boxes were falling apart and the selection in one of my boxes looked like they were running out of two different types so they just decided to keep throwing plain in the box. That's not how it works.
So after leaving with at least a partial good feeling because of the girl at the register, I get to my office to find out that one box was not a good mixture and that neither box of bagels had been sliced! So my staff spent the first part of the morning sawing their bagels open. I am not sure if this locations slicer was broken, staff was that lazy or if their slicer was broken. Either way, this is ridiculous. I will make the trip the other direction to the other location on Flamingo and Rainbow next time. For being in such a nice area, this store needs some help.
