  • I also stumbled upon this place after an exhausting bout of shopping. Though I have been a sushi-ignorer for the majority of my life, I was recently forced to face my fear of fish and raw things head on when my usual "anything but sushi" clause recently failed to work on an out-of-town friend. I have found the perfect alternative to vetoing the plans of others: the bento box! So, hardly a sushi connoisseur, my verdict on the (mostly) vegetarian box named after a popular Toronto street is: pretty delicious. The volume and taste and relative cheapness for these things just amazes me, and in my experience, it was one of the better ones I've had. The restaurant is on the slightly more classy-looking side (I'm still talking in the cheap range, here, remember), appropriate for a nice sit-down dinner, and the portions are just slightly smaller enough (the rolls, a little skinnier than I am used to seeing) to believe that the quality must be higher (I am being at least half-facetious). Oh, and my dinner date (a sushi-lover if I have ever known one) said their sushi was mighty fine, too.
