  • I have gone back and forth for the past few days about writing this review because I had such great expectations based on other reviewers, even off of Yelp, and I left extremely disappointed. I get my hair cut once every 6 months and have yet to find somewhere I am in love with to keep going back. I scheduled an appointment and showed up right on time, I have been going back and forth between cutting about 8 inches of my hair off or keeping it long and cleaning up my layers. When I sat down in the chair, I started discussing my concerns and ideas with Heather. She didn't have a whole lot of input to offer except that it was my own personal choice. After 10 minutes of discussion, she told me that I did need to make a decision because she had another client coming in. Now, I understand if I were to make such a drastic change and wanted to chat with a professional about it, I should have scheduled a consultation, but at the same time, as a new client to be coming into this salon, I wish the receptionist would have told me on the phone that this particular stylist books every 30 minutes. 30 minutes is HARDLY enough by the time you wash, cut, dry and style it. (and I even opted not to have her style it because of the time crunch) I decided not to go through with chopping it because I felt so uncomfortable and rushed. I didn't feel I could get exactly what I wanted/the best haircut possible from this stylist in 15 minutes. I asked her to keep my length and trim it. She finished in about 7 minutes and started to dry me. I was never given a hand mirror to see the back of my hair. I asked her to put a couple layers around my face and that was the extent of touchups to the cut once my hair was dry. Luckily, we finished in time for her next client. I went to the front desk to pay ($45 for this minor snipping) and asked the receptionist to wait a second while I checked out their product line. The stylist had no problem accompanying me at the product display, though, for a few minutes, as her next client waited in the chair. Don't get me wrong - I like my hair cut. It is fine for what I asked for, but the overall experience and for how much I paid was just less than satisfactory...... and my search for a great stylist will continue.
