  • An indispensable part of the iconic West Side Market and a Cleveland corner stone in finding European Import groceries. I've been shopping here since I first immigrated to the area from Germany (more than 35 years ago). For years this store was the only place around Cleveland to offer things like Nutella, Marzipan, those delicious individually wrapped soft caramel candies from Poland or hundreds of other food items people on the other side of the Atlantic take for granted. Sure, you can find Nutella at big US grocery chains now, but Mediterranean Import Foods still has the best value, and their groceries are always fresh and delicious! Whether you need ingredients for a special meal or just want to indulge in some of the finer things like fresh dates or exotic spices, it's all here! Operated the old fashined way like a European "Ma and Pa's" shop (Germans would call it "Tante Emma Laden"), this places gives you an authentic taste of times gone by. Whatever you bring home from this store, you probably won't find better food or a better value anyplace else. 5 stars from this reviewer.
