  • My family and I stayed here for 3 nights from 7/12 to 7/15. My sister from New Jersey met up with us via San Francisco. We got in pretty late Sunday night. I think our check in was after 9pm so we were too tired to do anything. The check-in was pretty swift. There was no line since it was late so the process took less than 3 minutes. We were assigned a room on the 7th floor in the West area. As soon as we got inside our room, we all detected a cigarette smoke scent. It was just a hint, but it was enough for all of us to get a wiff of it and know that someone obviously smoked in the room. Upon further inspection we noticed a band aid at the foot of the bed and also that the bathroom counter was super dusty. My sister said she was too tired to complain, but my other sister did call the front desk to tell them about our dissatisfaction with the room. The person in the front desk told my sister that she would tell the next cleaning lady to do a thorough job with cleaning it the next day. Cut to the next day....We left the room to grab breakfast downstairs. We got back to our room and saw the beds were made and everything fully restocked. So my sister checks on the band aid we found and IT WAS STILL THERE. My sister and I marched downstairs and told them what's happening. We were assisted by Jeannie who was training Ryan. She was very apologetic and moved us to a different floor at our request. For the inconvenience, she also comped our buffet. Three free buffets. All we really wanted was to be moved, so the added treat was nice. We were moved to the 25th Floor. As soon as we walked in, it smelled fresh and clean and the view was far nicer. The rest of our stay was wonderful. My sisters went to Wet Republic while I napped. They said it was great. They went right before the sunset so it wasn't too crowded. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the quiet room and checked out a movie that was playing. We had dinner at the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. The food was great. We also did a little bit of walking around in the casino as well as checking out a show. My aim was to not leave the casino. Basically it was to see if they really had literally everything you need that you didn't feel the need to go to the strip. They do. I ate there, did a bit of gambling, used the gym and enjoyed what they had to offer. I've stayed at all the other casinos on the strip at least once and I'd have to say MGM is up there with the best. The facilities are great, the rooms spacious, great view wherever you are and lots of fun activities and shows. We also saw KA and loved it. It was quite an impressive show. Bottom line, I think I've found my go to. I'm definitely staying here for the rest of time that I come visit the city of sin.
