Om nom nom.
Ordered the black and white sesame "wooffle" (which will be called a waffle for the remainder of this review because... wooffle? really?) with matcha-vanilla twist soft serve. The wait was about 30 minutes (with about 8 - 10 orders in front of me).
The waffle was light and crispy on the outside and soft and eggy on the inside. The sesame seeds added a nice textural element to the little eggs and a pleasant roasted flavour. The soft serve was super creamy and it was one of the better (though not the best) matcha ice creams I've tasted.
The price was on par for the elements:
- waffle (original, sesame, or salt and pepper) $3.50
- soft serve (matcha, vanilla, or twist) $3.50
The specialty waffles (lap cheong, cookies and cream, chocolate and peanut) are slight more expensive at $4.50.
Overall, a fantastic treat that I would come back for again and again (and probably again and again.)
