Small store that has made use of every nook and cranny of their location. They had a bit of everything. I did however notice some of their canned foods are expired, so I recommend checking the expiration dates before purchase.
The $4.50 kimbap was truly a sweet find. It was heavy on the filling and light on the rice, which is just the way I like it. They also had warm soondae (Korean blood sausage) and ttuk (Korean rice cake) which made my mouth water but i knew I couldn't eat all of it by myself so I had to settle for just the kimbap. Next time!
The lady who rung me up who seemed to be the owner and the one making all the delicious dishes mentioned above is from kyungsangnamdo, which is the southern part of Korea. The reason I mention this is because, the southern parts of Korean cooking is much more rich and flavorful in my opinion. So, I can't wait to try her kimchi. I couldn't buy the kimchi this time around because I have a half gallon jar left from my last purchase at Asiana market. I'll update on which kimchi was better :)
But do check this place out and explore for yourself. I'm sure you will find something interesting and new.
