I did drive yourself to location dog sledding package with Toronto Adventures earlier this year. The actual dog sledding part was fun but I found the organization to be pretty poor. Since they organize a bus drop off option, it seems like everyone is congregated to arrive at a certain time and then divided into groups to take turns to dog sled. So there is a lot of time spent waiting around. Snowshoeing was added on as a free activity to do while waiting or post dog sledding. Additionally, I wasn't too fond of how the same dogs were used for multiple runs (definitely over 2-3 hours straight). I don't know from experience whether this is how it is like for all dog sled companies, but if I were to do this activity again I would prefer to go with a company that pays more attention to the dogs.
