I came here for HH to see what the hype was all about, and it surely does live up to it!
Drinks are $5 and appetizers are $3.95. We started with their white peach sangria and beef carpaccio, spicy shrimp & eggplant, and four cheese pizzeta. We thought that the food wouldn't be enough, but boy were we wrong! The portions are HUGE for the price. One appetizer for each of us would have been enough. The flat bread pizza was good and paired well with our sangrias. But our favorite dishes are the spicy shrimp & eggplant and beef carpaccio. The spicy shrimp was laid on top of the eggplant with this creamy sauce ladled around it. The beef carpaccio is definitely a star all on its own. Its such a steal to get a huge plate full of thinly sliced beef for less than 4 bucks. I've carpaccio at sushi restaurants, but this was way different. The beef melted in your mouth and I could've probably scarfed down the whole plate if I wasn't sharing it.
My first time there did not disappoint. I'll definitely be back for a beef carpaccio of my own and try some other things on the menu.
