3.5 stars. Service had a slow start but ended up being pretty good although we were bummed to hear the specials being told at the next table - our server was so delayed in the beginning that she didn't tell us the specials. The shrimp cocktail was AMAZING minus one poop shoot not being removed. That sauce though .. yum! Don't get the scallops. They are so laden with a sugar reduction sauce that all you taste is sweet. For $15, you want to make sure you taste those beautiful sea scallops you're paying for. The bread was disappointing. Only a very tiny bit of soft bread vs the amount of hard scrape the roof of your mouth crust. Loved the raspberry point and Irish point oysters. Caesar salad was ok.
My boyfriend and I split the 8 oz tenderloin and scalloped potatoes for $34. Those potatoes were amazing! Delicious. Yum. The steak .... well hmm. Although it was tender, it wasn't a filet. Or at least didn't resemble one at all. It tasted like pot roast. Not that pot roast isn't good, but $34 for a steak, you want that baby to be like a delicious buttery filet. I would not recommend the steak at all.
We will return but it will be for the oysters and shrimp cocktail only and perhaps we will sit at the bar so service is improved.
