| - My friends and I came in on a Saturday night expecting to have a few beers and have a good time.
As I walk in, I have my ID ready as I look younger than the legal age to drink. The hostess takes a look at me upon arrival and has a smirk on her face as if i'm underage and trying to sneak in the bar. I hand her my Ontario photo card and she looks at it confused and saying "Oh, sorry we don't accept this form of ID here." ... wait, what?! The whole purpose of an Ontario photo card is the prove age if you don't have a drivers license or if you still have the red and white health card.
At this point my friends and I are starting to get pretty annoyed, she has to show my card to another hostess who then doesn't even know what type of card it is and then they call over who i'm assuming the manager was. He asks me several questions, trying to "trick" me, thinking it's a fake ID. Now i'm getting really mad.
Eventually they let us in, no apology. I walk up to the bar, the bartender asks for my ID, AGAIN.. same thing happens. The bartender was very rude and again, no apology. Finally got my drink and the whole time felt very unwelcome there. Staff members looking at me like I didn't belong.
Overall, a horrible experience. Would not recommend going if you're not a regular or if you look younger than 25 or you will be treated horribly. Customer service was horrible and drink selection was limited. If I could I would rate this pub 0/5 stars.
