| - My husband wrote this review, but I wholeheartedly concur:
This venue is a favorite of ours, not just because the sushi is excellent, but because we are so well taken care of that we are made to feel like family. To start, the lighting is plentiful without being too bright, and the seating always makes each table feel like an intimate setting. The service is quick, professional and courteous. The presentation of your food by the servers is not made into a show, as though the servers are focused on bringing your order without interrupting the microcosm you've created at your table with your guests. Drinks are always full, often without us noticing when they've been refilled. As to the food, we have NEVER had a bad meal here. As often as we've eaten here and as much of the fish as I've eaten, I've never gotten sick, which tells me that their sushi prep area is fastidiously clean. My wife always orders the gyoza and chicken teriyaki plate and is never disappointed with taste or portion size. I've taken to handing her the sushi menu when we order and letting her pick. I've had every roll on the menu, from a simple California roll to the baked lobster and scallop roll. I'm a fan of spicy Asian cuisine and the chefs always find a way to spice it up without changing what the roll should taste like. No matter how outlandish the roll may seem, it's never over- or under-dressed with sauces. All in all, this place will remain our favorite local spot; it's like an Asian Cheers for us: they always know our name, and we're glad to go there.
Sincerely,
Chrys B.
