| - If you want your child well taken care of, I wouldn't recommend this in home daycare. My 4 month old was scratched and bitten on the legs by another 2 year old child and Denise stated that she had no idea how or when the incident happened. Fast forward 4 months later, Denise mentioned my daughter had "choked on coloring book paper" that was torn from a book by another child. I asked her if she had seen the incident and she stated "No, I heard her choking". So you didn't see, but heard her? Hmmm. I did NOT receive a phone call about EITHER incident and was very upset about not being notified. She gave us a two week notice (which is pretty amusing and continues to claim the victim card). My child, who has been scratched, bitten, and has choked, was the victim here, not her ONE bit. She "watches" approximately 10 part time and full time children who revolve days. It is extremely UNSAFE to watch this many children with with a 10:1 ratio at any point in time (I can name each child). She obviously doesn't adhere to the in home to child ratio that the state has regulated, works a loophole and runs her childcare business just like a business. She has complete disregard for the safety of the children. To top these incidents off, she took $100 dollars from us. Mothers beware, For your own sake and sanity; I do NOT recommend this daycare. Feel free to contact me and I can show you pictures of the bites and scratches on my child who was in her care. There are also pictures on my child right now here on YELP that I did NOT continue to authorize. I would appreciate them taken down. Thankfully we found somebody who will put our child's safety and well-being first and foremost. Mothers, always trust your intuition it's always usually right!
