  • Nicknamed "Submarine Dep" by the locals--mainly the spend-happy McGill students who decide to strike out for the west side of campus--this is your average Couche-Tard with exorbitantly priced beer (you can catch decent specials sometimes, though) and a good selection of snacks. The Subway franchise that shares the space is pretty handy, too. Basically, it's the only dep west of campus that's 24/7, so even though it's not great, who can really complain? Big ups to the guy who worked the night shift during the summer of 2012, whose nametag just said "FORMATION" (roughly, "training"). So many drunk Doritos runs. We shared a lot of moments.
