| - We called Village Plumbing after having numerous problems with our longstanding plumber. Bob answered the phone, was very courteous as I explained the issue we were having (washing machine hoses "fused....i'm not sure if this is the correct term" and unable to remove to have a new washing machine installed.)
Bob gave me a time of approx. 3p.m. that same day (today), which was awesome as I really need the new machine hooked up if I'm to avoid being stuck in the laundry room for eternity like a scullery maid as the dirty laundry keeps piling up...and up.....and up!
Bob asked me to text him the full address, which I did, and which he then confirmed. Then, even better, he called a couple hours early to let me know he had finished another job earlier than expected, and asked would it be ok for him to come over early. Would it be ok for a plumber to come EARLIER than expected?!? Ummm...hell yes!!
At this point, I was leaving the house, and my S.O. would be there to be on hand for when Bob arrived, which he did promptly. I was a bit nervous at having to leave, because while I'm fairly anal about having work done properly and in a professional manner, my S.O. is even more so. To my great surprise, when I arrived home, the job had been finished. This is not what gave me the nice surprise though. That came in the form of the praise my S.O. had to give on Bob's behalf. If he is singing someone's praises, then that someone has done a great job. He said Bob was professional, friendly, courteous, knowledgable, timely, and on top of that, we were given a bill which was VERY fair and reasonable, especially considering the fact that Bob had had to run out to get a part that was needed.
If we had used our previous plumbers, I have no doubt at all that we would have been billed twice as much as what Bob billed us.
I have lived in Las Vegas since 1972. I have never felt that I could truly recommend a plumber. With Bob, I feel very comfortable recommending him to anyone I know, and will do so in to anyone in the future.
Bob, thanks for a job well done at a very fair price!
Sam
