  • Helpful, trustworthy, honest. Three words that come to mind when recalling my experiences at Ronnie's Auto. I had brought my vehicle in several weeks ago, prior to relocating to Austin, TX for a new job- approximately 1,004 miles away. Not having had my car serviced in a while, and putting it off till the last minute, I would need a check up (tires rotated, oil change) within the time frame of a single weekend, as I had to depart Tempe for Austin on the following Monday. Ronnie was able to accommodate me during this short window of time which was essential for me, even though he was short one mechanic because of a family emergency. He inspected my car, and changed the oil, found one of my taillights out (fixed that), but when rotating my tires found that 2 of the 4 tires were in need of replacement, with one tire already falling apart along its outside edge, and would need to be replaced immediately. I was glad that he noticed this problem and was able to address it before I had to leave town. I was warned because of the rare model of tires I had it may not be possible to quickly find replacements which were of the same model. I was ok with this, but Rick had exceeded my expectations when I learned later he was able to find two tires which matched the tires I already had. After speaking with Rick, I also believed his word to be honest and reliable. Given the amount of work that was done on the vehicle, I thought the cost of repairs and service was appropriate. The management of the shop was professional and respectable. If in need of service in Tempe, take your vehicle here- I had terrible experiences at the local GMC dealerships!! Thanks Rick!
