Seems a bit dishonest to me. Took my car in to get the ignition switch from hell fixed, car also has a broken turn signal switch. Figured since they already had the steering column off it would be not too big a deal to swap out turn signal switch. They quoted me 200 dollars. I declined. I asked the guy at the parts desk (who seemed like I was taking away from his precious alone time) the cost of the turn signal switch. It was 60 dollars. So they want to charge me 140 dollars worth of labor to replace the turn signal with the steering column already off? I may be mistaken but it seems I am being bent over there. Service advisor was nice and courteous, but it really seemed they were trying to bone me on labor. Between that, the rude guy behind the parts counter, and the lady at the cashier desk getting legal advice about her divorce on the phone, it's safe to say that autonation Chevrolet in Mesa will never ever recieve any money from me. I will also see to it that anyone I know who is in the market for a new car or service, never go there as well.
