I used to live here from 2002-2007. They where a budget paradise having low rent, utilities all included, easy access to major shopping and downtown. But that was just the top of the cake that looked good. I lived in two units, a Jr. one bedroom that was really a studio with a half wall between, and 2 years later and real 1 bedroom. I have moved into a house since then but have a relative who lives there currently. The renovated remodeled apartments are just as crappy as when I lived there. It's lipstick on a pig. They slapped color paint, fake laminated counter tops, cheap appliances, and stick-in-peel laminated wood texture tile and call it newly renovated... owner now has quad tippled rent and no longer includes utilities. The office staff is a joke and no matter the management company they bring in there a clone of the last. A/C is included but you don't control the thermostat because its controlled by property what has a industrial air system that brings air to the buildings. The air coming into units is only a relay blower that you can turn off and on and cooled air coming out is humid feeling and stays around 75-78 degrees never lower. Sewer roaches are a norm seeing 5-6 in my brothers unit, I had the same issue in both my units when it was called SomerSet Villa. Loud neighbors can be heard all the time though walls. I didn't then and don't now recommend living here. It's really overpriced for what you get and management is a joke... They won't even try to remember your name if your in there regularly, your Unit # not a person.
