I attended the adult night for Valentine's Day last week. I'm glad I was a guest of a corporate function because I know I got my money's worth. I wouldn't want to pay full price. I don't think there are enough exhibits and there's too much reading as far as I'm concerned. It's a nice big building but I found it airy and cold on the main floor, especially in the conference room areas.
The Dome Theatre screen is gigantic and a little dizzying to watch at times, but it's cool nonetheless. We moved to seats near the top row to have the best view. The seats sit fairly straight up and even if you try to recline, you can't crank your neck enough to see the top of the screen if you're sitting in the bottom rows.
I don't have kids but if I did, I wouldn't take them here unless I scored a discounted rate. Telus Spark is worth visiting once. I think gifting a membership to a family would be a thoughtful and generous present.
