The number of neighborhood bar's seem to be falling as more expensive gastro pub/occasional spots increase. This is unfortunate as a beer and a burger shouldn't be a $20 outing. Thankfully, Lincoln Park Pub exists!
While this spot is known for its Taco Tuesday's, there's some sort of discount food option every day. Low cost, yet really freaking good burger's on Wednesday; wings with a number of sauce and dry rub options on Thursday, and so on. There's something every night. They also have drink specials each night too. Even if they got rid of the specials, the whole menu is super affordable and tasty. It's bar food done right.
I especially like how it's not a hassle for a Celiac sufferer like me to get proper service. It may take some questions with the kitchen to ensure I don't end up suffering later in the evening, but service is great and they totally take care of me. All the bartenders are super friendly and treat everyone great even if it's their first time at the joint.
Overall, I'm glad neighborhood bars like this still exist and I hope the LPP sticks around for a long long time.
Other notes: $10 minimum on all credit card purchases, TouchTunes jukebox, and a sweet patio.
