  • This place is like a mad house on the weekend. There was a steady flow of customers and one had to fight for a spot to get seat. I used to buy Illy espresso before I upgraded to a proper espresso machine and a grinder. For a standardized product their espresso was decent though pricey but in remote locations it was next best thing to buying fresh roasted products. First off the prices for desserts are ridiculous for a cafe. All this would have been OK had the desserts been decent, nope not here. I didn't try a cappuccino though might come back for one later. I went for an affigato and my friend ordered coconut cake of sorts. Affigato was OK but the cake was just horrendous. Think some of the worse cake one can buy in a grocery store. No real fat just gelatinous ugliness, devoid of taste and texture. My friend's espresso drink didn't prompt a response so not sure it was anything to special. 2 stars.
