  • UPDATE: I ended up having to sell my Sportage to a mechanic friend of mine, thinking he could fix it. His nephew drove it one hot summer day and almost died then trying to make a left turn in traffic. The clutch chattered so badly the engine died...this floods the engine and takes several minutes to re-start it...nearly avoiding a head on. When Bud's did my clutch, it took him a week. His reason.."we're waiting on the flywheel to be surfaced"...my guess is it was sent to a local high school mechanics class to save money. They really should have replaced the flywheel. They would not. Bud should have been sued...but I was too nice of a guy.
