| - LVAC in the Southwest can either be the best gym or the worst gym for you. What determines that? The timing. If you work out in the super-early morning like I do, then you'll have no problems trying to deal with a crowded gym. The majority of other people that go early in the morning are there to get their workout done and head to work. I wouldn't even dare to try and go mid-day or at night. Just drive past the gym during those hours and you'll see nothing but a metallic sea of cars!
So much does it cost? The prices are unbeatable. I paid up front for about 3.5 years and it averages out to $11/month. Additionally, once that 3.5 years is over, I will only have to pay $8/month for life.
The gym is clean and there are a ton of machines, weights, and classes. It feels more like a indoor mall because it's quite literally the largest gym I've ever seen (and I've seen some big ones).
My only real complaint would be toward the staff. I understand that it's a minimum wage job but I feel as though the staff is generally rude or nonchalant. But hey, I'm only there to use the facility, not to engage with the workers. To be fair, they probably have to deal with their fair share of ignorant customers as well.
I would recommend this gym if you live in the area, desire access to nearly any type of equipment, and most importantly, ONLY if you workout at non-peak hours (9pm-7am).
