I found this place on Yelp and it's not too far from home. I'm a big fan of Thai food, in fact it's my #1 favorite cuisine. I haven't found my go-to Thai place in Arizona yet, so I'm still searching. I was hoping the search would be over, but sadly it isn't.
This place is in an unassuming strip mall filled with random shops. I only remember this spot because I had to take my dog to the veternarian nestled in this strip mall.
What I do like about this place is that it is nicely decorated. And the lunch special pricing is pretty good. Otherwise, I would only come here for lunch and that's about it.
The service was very slow. Not a fan of waiting when we are on a time crunch. It seemed like forever passed until we got waited on. Only one person was working on the floor, which is fine, but please don't just stand around the register while patrons are waiting to order.
I had panang curry and it was watered down and pretty bland. The meat was chewy and not soft. My husband had pad thai which was much better, but by not much. I am quite puzzled by the high reviews and I don't think my experience reflects this.
Overall, I feel it was just okay. I don't think I'll return anytime soon.
