| - The drinks here are, simply put, delicious. The nite I visited was a Wednesday evening to celebrate my b*day. My companion and I were literally the only people there. Somewhat understandable on a weeknite (or maybe because it was a stormy nite perhaps), but still we weren't expecting it to be quite that scarce. No live DJ, but they seemed to have all the right songs in rotation to set a great ambiance. The atmosphere is sophisticated and cozy.
The bartender was super cool, very attentive and even took the time to remember our names (not like he had an excuse since we were the only customers;-) I thought it was adorable that the menus were brought to us ice cold from the freezer. I cannot begin to name exactly what drinks we had, but we tried about 4 Martinis between us. We certainly tried the wild tea and pineapple express, from the signature menu as well as a couple of classics. Drinks were served with light salty snacks. There was also an option for appetizers/light bites such a s sushi from the joint next door, pita w/ hummus, etc I wasn't as brave as my friend to try the spicy ice shot (surely had a different name) served in a shot glass made of ice. They also have cigars, which can only be enjoyed on the patio area.
I would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again maybe on an evening when they have live entertainment. The prices are indeed a little steep for Martinis, but well worth it. They carry some drink combinations that I have not seen elsewhere.
