I've had Progressive through CDS for over a decade. I've never really had a problem with them until now. I called them to change my banking info because I switched banks and wanted to make sure my payment would continue to come out without any interruption. I asked the rep if I should do it through them or Progressive and I was informed I could do it with either of them. As I had done it through CDS in the past and not had an issue, I trusted them to do it again. I was faxed a change form to fill out my new information and faxed it back for the change to be made. However, I started receiving phone calls from Progressive a couple of weeks later telling me they tried to run my payment but couldn't because the bank account on file had been closed. Come to find out, CDS never updated my banking info like they said they would and on top of that, I am now being charge a $20 return fee. I feel like if there was a problem with the information I provided them, I should have been informed so I could have taken the necessary steps to correct the issue. After the headache this has caused, I don't think I'll be dealing with CDS in the future.
