As restaurants in Madison go, the original Sunprint is as iconic as any that has stood the test of time (almost 30 years in this case). The large menu may put some people off-but most of them are hits with a few misses. I usually order soup and tend to stick with the Arabic Plate, which includes most of the standbys one would expect, including tabouli, hummus, baba ganoush and a liberal helping of pita slices. Certain tables provide a degree of privacy, while others allow you to figuratively sit on your neighbor's lap. Go with an open mind, and you will eventually find something you like. Also be prepared for a small amount of "self service" with regard to the transportation of eating utensils, napkins and water.
