  • This might sound super snobby, but I walked into this store like whhhaaaat?! I've never bothered coming to such store even though there is one 5 minutes down the road on my side of town. I just felt like a 99 cent store would have a bunch of generic close to expiration type of things. UH WRONG! It was a wonderland in there for me. Lol. There's a certain kind of appreciation for this kind of place when you have 4 kids in tow and they all have the need to walk out with something even though you came for 1 thing. Here, they have branded items and my assumption that there was going to be generic close to expiration things proved me wrong! Of course as I browsed around my kids come running with fast and furious cars, a figurine from inside out, crayola stuff, and because I knew we weren't at Target I looked at them and say hey, ball out. Hahhaha. They literally have an aisle for everything. Grocery, snacks, drinks, toys, cleaning supplies for both home and cars, party supplies, school/office supplies, home decor, and it can go on and on...I was seriously amazed and impressed. I saw loreal beauty items, especially that youth code facial moisturizer that's usually about 20 bucks. Despite it being a smaller size, hey, still a fun find. This is gold for us one income fam of 6 especially with school age children who need to replenish their school supplies through the year or who have projects. I was excited to find they carried tri-folds as that was exactly what we needed for one of my kids. Not that trifolds are expensive, but the mind game of 99cents...it's a powerful thing. Lines were super long but moved fairly quick. I've popped in a couple times in the same week and both times had good amount of traffic. Customer service was good enough and overall the store was pretty clean. We had to switch out grocery carts a couple times trying to find a good one but that's all the bitching I got. Lol. Highly recommend checking this store out if you are in need of something. If it isn't out your way, it's sure worth the try because they may have what it is you're looking for or equivalent. If not, they may have things you didn't realize you needed or wanted until you see the 99 cent label on it. But just a note, not everything is 99cents. They do have items that sell with the price label ENDING in .99. Also, I notice when the item scans it scans as 1.00. Not that it's serious but it may matter to other people. Enjoy!
