I have been to this restaurant many many times since it is located only a block from my work. I wouldn't say the food is spectacular but it is ok. The thing that keeps me coming back is their queso and margaritas. As for the entrees I've tried the enchiladas with ground beef, ground beef tacos, tortilla soup, and chicken quesadillas. Everything but the soup was good. It certainly wasn't worth raving about but it's good. The soup however I would not recommend. The onions didn't taste like they were cooked fully and it was basically just broth, onions, cheese, and some tortilla strips. It had no real substance to it.
The main reason I give this place a lower 3 rating is because of the service. Each time I am here the staff is at your feet making you feel rushed. I can understand that you are downtown and you want to turn over tables but bringing checks right after receiving my food is too soon. To then come back while I'm still eating and mention again that you have left the checks there waiting is very rude. I wish I could say this was a one time occurrence but it has happened multiple times and I always leave the restaurant frustrated.
