| - Came here with my fiancee to celebrate a milestone, figured we'd try a hotel in our city that wasn't one of the typical ones.
We got a gorgeous blue room (Room 3) and just had the best stay! We checked in quickly and were given a short tour of the place, and were asked a few questions for what we wanted in our free breakfast tray the next day (type of juice). First impression was just great.
The room itself was beautiful! Comfortable bed with cute French-style decor. There was also a little terrace with chairs and a table which we sat out on. It faces a little courtyard which I'm assuming is from George restaurant below? There's some loud vents but you can't hear them from the room. Honestly it was so quiet and private!
The bathroom is amazing. Huge tub, huge shower. Bvlgari shampoo/condition/etc. There's a selection of bath salts waiting for you on a tray on the tub to use. Bathrobes and plastic sandals from the spa also available. Netflix/Apple TV come with the TV system.
For dinner, we went down to George restaurant, which is accessible through a door straight from the hotel hallway so we didn't even need to go outside...that was so convenient! Your hotel key card opens the door. You wouldn't know you were above a restaurant however...it's quiet upstairs.
For breakfast, each room has a continental style breakfast tray waiting for you in the little bar room outside the hotel rooms. Croissants, boiled egg, juice. You call concierge to get a pot of fresh coffee. In that little room you can also take alcohol ($6) as well as free drinks such as tonic and sodas. Ice is also available there.
Overall, we had a fabulous stay! Would definitely recommend this place. We also creeped around and saw they have what looked like dining rooms/event rooms, would be great for an event. On the tour, we saw there's a lounge area, internet room/library area as well!
