we are locals and thought we would check out the "resort" for a couple days since it looks impressive from the 101. when we checked in we had to walk through the smelly casino. if you've never been to a indian casino they are dark smokey places with a lot of depressing people. once we got into our rooms we weren't impressed. the room was small and had a bizarre bathroom door that doesn't lock(so if your staying with little kids expect to have the door opened while you're doing your business). we stayed at many resorts in scottsdale and they were much better. we ate dinner at the seafood place on the casino floor and weren't impressed with seating and the tables were too small. the food was pretty good and wasn't too expensive. after that we got drinks at the main bar area. the drinks were overpriced but the bartenders were nice. when we retired to our room i stopped in the little gift shop and was going to buy a soda but returned it to the cooler after i saw how long the check out line was. while i walked into the hotel area i heard a lot of commotion and saw a security guard limping after me with his cane. he was yelling "that man stole a soda, stop him" and pointing at me. it created quite a seen and the hotel attendant stopped me. they both looked at me and asked if i took the soda. obviously i didn't have anything on me and was just going up to my room. the security guard limped back to the casino floor and the hotel attendant went back to his station. no apology or anything. i would never return to this "resort" its overpriced for what they offer and the customer service sucks. one last thing. whats up with the creepy looking arcade by the pool.
