| - Ok.. where does one begin to start to help anyone understand my review in total? About 8 months ago the place I had been living at for eighteen months lost its contract bid to property forcing new ownership/management that went from a friendly pool side introduction and expectations to forceful lease terminations upon renewal time for entire complex. If that weren't stressful enough imagine teenage kids doing satellite work for company hired to install on each unit just to find almost everyone's air conditioning in the summertime was being cut from negligent labor. Then you find dirt and debris falling into your unit destroying clothes in laundry unit area... Trees cut and left causing critters to invade everywhere but where they belonged... A horrible treatment to successfully fulfilling a lease and still getting the boot...
So, I began my search for a new home somewhere nearby as my son has been attending the Madison elementary district for over six years now with the same friends and teachers. I happened to see this place online and fell in love with layout but bypassed it again and again once seeing the outside of complex.. Forgetting Biltmore is an old neighborhood with gems of all kinds I moved into a privately owned condo two blocks down the street. Small minor maintenance issues but nothing that I couldn't handle... So I thought... Six months later with the latter three being unsuitable, unlivable and hazardous to the physical being and my property I found myself throwing in the towel in an epic battle leading to court with delirium all but ready to permanently check me into a psych ward. After paperwork, testimonials, pictures, video recordings and a missed birth of relative and burial of another I took a loss, took a check and was finally let out my lease legally and went to a hotel until I found once again somewhere to call home.
I again scrolled online and wondered why I never checked this place out. Scrunching my nose upon arrival I bit the bullet and went inside the leasing office where I first met Tim. From the very beginning he was upfront, honest to the point without overselling my future stay or downplaying any fees. As a matter of fact he made sure to get to numbers before even showing property and I can respect that. Looking for a move in of next day he said he could accommodate upon credit checks and with a minor glitch on my end he found a way to still have me moved in as promised in what turned out to be a two bed two bath triplex type beauty. I mean I'm on the second floor and have stairs (two sets of them) inside. Spacious, elegant I am still in love.
Tim is a complete gentlemen and went and still does out of his way to ensure our peace of mind. From constant begging to spray my unit as my previous ordeal had left me PTS if you will though I should have documented my request he made it happen ASAP.
Leah is the perfect compliment to running this office. She is firm but patient and whenever I have made a frantic maintenance call just to call back and say oops never mind I can tell who probably patched vm through cause her head shakes like a mamma bear to a cub but then she will inquire about the day and take time to laugh at my over the top comments for the day.. I'm honestly IMPRESSED at this young duo's ability to not only maintain a full HUGE complex but keep it's grounds, residents and daily duties in check and professional and still inviting to future residents as well. The kids play right in front of their office and every time I run in before the 6pm closing time to load my laundry card they have nothing less than a smile, and acknowledgement even if busy with another person.
Jeremy their head maintenance guy.. I know he has wanted to probably to ring me a time or two but is always on point and extremely accommodating He even went so far as to carry two huge heavy deliveries across the street to my unit after informing me to pick up in office and let him know if help was needed while he had cart. I pushed off the whole coming to get them because whew... I already knew it was a task.. Without a cart, car and only ourselves he was not thrilled with me ( Im sorry.. :D) but he was again over the top and went beyond his duty to help me get my furniture to my unit... When my shower was leaking he came immediately and had another professional out the following day to complete the work needed..
I cant speak for anyone else but for me and my son.. WE LOVE and look forward to solidifying ourselves as paradise palms residents. I really hope Tim and Leah plan on being the face of this place for a long time to come. They do what they do just so darn well it blows my mind away.. And you don't find that in young management everyday. You don't find it period regardless of age everyday.
So, Thank you Tim, Leah and Jeremy seriously.. I am finally home... yeah
. I don't know how you do it but for everything you do it isn't unnoticed at all..
