  • It's official. This Walmart, and most/all I'm sure, will not offer price matching for groceries after Sunday, October 15, 2017. I commented to one of the "greeters" - on the way out of the store this morning - and she said that "it doesn't affect her because she never shops there". I do though cigarette smoker lady. I've read rumors that this is a move in order to replace the cahiers with self-serve checkout stations. I like Walmart, but I really hope their bottom line is affected by this. All one has to do is pay attention to the news to realize all the competition out there (A M A Z O N). Good grief!
