| - I had to go into this location multiple times due to defective parts while I was building a custom built PC. Unfortunately a few days after I put everything together and finally got it working, I had a heart attack and had to go to Mayo Clinic. Needless to say I am behind in work, behind in school, and desperately need these funds back. As well.. the computer runs too hot for my liking and the case is too cramped, the monitor flickers, and I am not sure what that is about.
I spoke with the manager David, who seemed promising to help me with my situation and extend my return date a few more days...
Partly I made my reason based upon the fact that I loved the computer so much which is my fault... but it is much more about my heart issue and time at Mayo Clinic since. The next day I received a call from a Michael who not only shot down any possibility, but offered to help me with any tech related needs... for a computer system I had spoken to the store manager about returning. Salt in the wound. I will try to contact corporate now and if that doesn't work, swear off Frys Electronics and this store for the rest of my life, as I am down $2.2K
In addition to this purchase, I have also bought a pair of Beats earbuds ($99.99), Steelseries gaming headphones ($69.99), a Logitech G203 gaming mouse ($39.99), and a corsair gaming mousepad ($39.99) in the last month. I have been a customer for 15 years, mostly in California.
Update 1*
Called Fry's Corporate office, they are sending a message back to Store Manager, hopefully he will call me back and we can talk more in depth. Corporate service on 408-487-4500
was very fast and helpful, highly recommend. Increased 2 stars.
