  • 1 star for management, 5 stars for our server. We get there yesterday morning and are told it would be a 20-30 minute wait, which is normal for this restaurant. Because of the size of our party, we choose to wait outside. 35 minutes have passed and we are still waiting outside and we're starting to wonder what is going on. Shortly after, a woman in a white dress comes to ask if we have a party of 10. I said yes and she said that they've been calling for you. Not thinking about it, I followed her in. She went off to the side to talk to another girl, and I said "Wait, you don't even work here?" She said no, I just saw you and your family waiting for a long time from inside. I thanked her and said it was appreciated. I went up to an elderly haole woman behind the counter and gave her our name. She was surprised that we were still there. Apparently they had just given up our table. I said, did you even go outside? She said yes we did. And I thought, wtf? Another non-working customer just came outside to grab us. If it wasn't for that other customer, we would probably still be standing outside one day later as I type this. So stupid. Don't lie to my face that you came outside when you didn't. Despite that Haole's ignorance, our server made us forget her and made or meal great. Get someone else to run the front.
