  • This little oasis in the desert is the perfect place to enjoy a walk with a friend and enjoy the scenery or just steal some alone time with yourself to get quiet and centered. I love arriving early in the morning because the weather is nice and it's like having the park to yourself. You pay for your $5 entry fee inside of the gift shop, be sure to purchase some food to feed the koi fish. Visit the Japanese Friendship Garden - Ro Ho En website there you can pre-schedule a Japanese Tea Ceremony; which is the only way you can attend one. If you are a long time Valley resident, this is a worthwhile stop and you will enjoy your time at the Japanese Friendship Garden.
