  • The tanks are spotless, the fish seem healthy. However, they advertise that they offer custom installation of fresh and saltwater aquariums. I went in to find out prices and appointment availability for a set up. They said they don't do that, that they really just do maintenance service. I said "oh! Well, what do you charge?" and was told something to the effect of, "we don't really do that, we do have a couple of accounts." Then they discouraged me from looking at their freshwater fish. I looked anyway and what I saw? Perfect planted tanks with perfect inhabitants. Clearly well established and VERY WELL CARED FOR. So. Why one star? It was pretty clear that this store is basically the personal hobby room of these people and they didn't want to sell, or DO anything at all. They're using the "business" as a tax break. Oh, and they don't "open" until 11. Its a great place to visit to see what YOUR tanks should look like, but I'll bet you have to FIGHT them to buy an actual fish.
