| - Quaint, farmhouse style restaurant with a great patio. Ate inside, and it felt like eating in a farmhouse because...well, it is one! Chatted with the owner, who we saw featured on Channel 8's "Check Please Arizona" restaurant review show. She was super friendly, as was our server. We started out with a cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven with cream cheese frosting and butter slathered all over it. Oh my! The best cinnamon roll I think I've ever eaten. Light and airy, almost like a Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut. We then had breakfast. It took a bit longer than expected to get our food, but they were wrapping up a busy Sunday morning--and it was worth the wait. My wife loved her veggie omelet, and I devoured my buffalo scramble, which featured cheese, eggs, an array of veggies, and the star of the dish: chopped buffalo steak. A little salt, and I was chowing down with bites of tasty, non-greasy hash browns and thick wheat toast in between bites. As others have said, get here early or come after about 11:15 a.m. to avoid the crowds. They are open until 2 p.m. and serve breakfast all the way until closing time. We want to come back for lunch so we can try the buffalo burgers and caramel rolls!
