  • I absolutely love the concept of this salon and chem-free atmosphere. The music is pleasant and the staff was ultra friendly which makes the visit more of an experience or visit to a spa. Very relaxing. So, why I hold back giving more stars? People just need to know that not all hairstylists there are equally talented with the products they are using and I think some inexperienced hairstylists are there more because of their sweet dispositions and owner's willingness to mold them or, perhaps, not having enough "regular" stylists willing to learn something new....I am not sure. It takes a few times for them to get it right and the last time it was a color. I only had it redone because I was actually embarrassed to have to walk around with it for a week. They re-did it at no charge but I was mostly disappointed that no one even apologized for the time and inconvenience it took out of my life and the owner kept talking about me in 3rd person, right in front of me,to the stylist ...she also could have just asked me for that matter. I felt she was way more concerned about coddling her than fixing me. Esp.disappointed because they were so friendly before my complaint and they had said to me on couple occasions we will get it right ,even though it may take a couple times. She wasn't blatantly rude but this suddenly changed demeanor still made me feel bad enough and awkwardly self conscious for coming back. But I feel it shouldn't always be on the clients side to pay for their inability- at times- just to give you what you asked for..so I am not sorry a bit I had them re-do. I soooo much want to support what they are striving for but they are just not there yet...with all the stylists anyway. I am not sure if I will go back yet. From a customer service standpoint, they could at least offer some voucher to get 25-50% off a product or next salon service for those times that the clients are clearly not getting what they asked for....a little appreciation for people's time and patience can go a long way. With full professional salon prices, saying "just give us a few times to get it right for you" doesn't cut it.
