| - Let me preface by saying the server was sweet and very accommodating. I had my children, one in a stroller, and she pulled the hostess stand out of the way so we could fit at a table. She brought out a sippy cup of water and kid plate for my daughter, a nice gesture.
I ordered a salmon skin cut roll, firecracker roll (salmon, ponzu, spicy scallop) and a chicken teriyaki bowl. Everything was par except for the firecracker roll. I wish I would've taken a picture, it looked disgustingly old. The salmon was a slight purple color and the "spicy scallop" looked like a pepto bismol mush. It hardly looked edible. Then squirts of sriracha on top, in no order or technique, but rather like when you squirt mustard over a hot dog but the mustard is running out. Aesthetically ugly. I took a bite and the entire piece was cold. BINGO! It was premade and left to die in the refrigerator until someone ordered this gem. Unacceptable for an $11 roll.
The service was good, the food besides the rip-off roll was prepared and plated well. The atmosphere seemed like it would be a fun place for a date night, small tables and a sushi bar. The firecracker roll, however, needs work and from a restaurant owner who takes pride in his work, in every roll.
