  • Mehhhhh. So many Charlotte natives love Midwood Smokehouse, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. I ordered the BBQ with a side of baked beans. The hushpuppies were the only thing on the plate that I enjoyed. The BBQ was super dry, and the baked beans were cold. Maybe I caught them on a bad night. My fiancĂ© had the beef rib for $40. It was expensive but he enjoyed it, and this is why I'm awarding 3 stars (based on his experience rather than mine). Overall, I would give this restaurant another try because so many of my friends like it.
