  • A very lousy experience for the price. It was something to try once, but from now on, my money is much better spent at a cheaper resort on the Strip. Key issues: - We had a Fountain View room and the windows were not cleaned on the outside - so when you went to enjoy the view that cost an extra $80 per night, you instead got a view of a bunch of dirty spots from a window that hadn't been cleaned in months. As such, it was impossible to get photos of the view from our room because the camera picks up on the crud on the window. - They don't comp your drinks when you are playing video poker at the bar - Excalibur does, without question. The bartender did not communicate this policy to me before asking what I wanted to drink, so fine, I guess I'll pay for it - but a Maker's Mark was $18! Are you joking? It's a shot that cost you $0.50 to pour. In San Francisco, one of the most expensive markets in the US, this drink costs $12. When I complained to management about this, they very reluctantly issued the refund as if losing hundreds to them in gambling wasn't enough to pay for their liquor cabinet. - Our check-in agent, Lexi, was rather rude and condescending and sounded like she hated her job or at minimum, hated us - and this was before we realized Bellagio was a huge waste of money, so we were actually quite pleasant at check-in. - It was impossible to get in touch with my host after the initial reservation booking. I tried three times and each time he was either out of office or on the other line, and when I left a message for him, he would never return my call. - @Bellagio never responds on Twitter, and neither does the Twitter handle for MGM Resorts International, so they have very bad customer relationship management. Worse yet, the responses from Guest Relations to other people here with complaints contain very empty promises to fix things (yeah, right) and only expects you to come back and try again (Edit: See?). I won't be back again, and I think I'll take some matters up with my credit card company unless Bellagio wants to grant a credit back themselves for a lousy room and lousy service. Long story short, stay at a Caesars property.
