  • I have used Anna's Housekeeping about five or six times for periodic housecleaning once every few months. Their service is terrible, I don't know why I go back to them - it is probably only because I have their number saved in my phone and it's the easiest. Every time I call though, the person picking up is incredibly rude. One time I left a message on their phone as they didn't pick up and forgot to leave my phone number in the message. They have my record so they called me back right away but the lady on the other end was giving me a lot of whack for forgetting to leave my phone number. Even apart from that isolated experience, the administrative service is consistently rude. Onto the housekeeping service - of the five or six times I've used their service, four times the housekeeper was late by more than half an hour. One time, when the housekeeper arrived, I pointed out that she was late, and she angrily told me that she had to commute to get to my apartment which takes time. My appointment was not during rush hour so I don't see why she would've been late other than her own tardiness. The cleaning itself is mediocre - they like to hide your messes and appear as though they cleaned. However, I will be fair and say they do a wonderful job in the washroom. The rest of the house - they will try and get by with minimal effort. On the last time I had my apartment cleaned, the cleaning lady was half an hour late. Then, the administrative person from Anna's kept calling my cell phone to speak to the cleaning lady as she did not have her own cell phone. Imagine my discontent - them chatting in a language I could not understand, on MY cellphone, while the cleaning lady still had on her dirty gloves! The cleaning lady also broke my eyeshadow palette, which I did not realize until she had left. I had heard a few loud noises of her dropping objects in my bedroom but I assumed she did not break anything. However, upon her departure, I found that the eyeshadow in my eyeshadow palette had cracked and spilled out, she did not tell me this. There were streaks on the outside of my palette indicating she wiped away the residue, and closed the palette - making it look like all was fine. Accidents happen, I understand. But it is not professional to not tell me, and attempt to hide it. I will not be using Anna's again.
