  • Carlton cinema lays on the charm, watch out or you just might fall in love. Arrive on a Friday evening and you'll be greeted by a live pianist, playing movie theme adaptations for your pleasure as you wait for your showtime. Don't even think about dropping a fortune on popcorn; Carlton makes sure you'll still have some change left for the TTC with their pre-millennium prices. They'll even remind you that a large comes with a refill so you can share with wild abandon even though it's still unlikely that you'd require a top-up. Sure, the screens may be a little smaller, maybe even a tad fuzzy (compared to HD) but the service offers a warm and comforting movie-going experience that I have yet to find anywhere else.
