  • Let me start out by saying that I've been coming here for the last seven years and just like Bonjour Bakery I am too, a small business owner. For me however, I appreciate and value the support of loyal customers and thrive to give mine the best service they want and deserve. Not to be deceitful and to give a quality product that keeps them coming back thru the doors. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be a concern of the new owners of this Bakery. Up until now, my only complaint that I ever had was that they would regularly sell out of those Almond Croissants that I crave!!! No one in town came close to theirs! As soon as I walked in I could tell it was different , there were different pastries( this could be a good thing) , it looked freshly painted and there was a woman behind the counter that we could barely understand. I checked everything out and decided I really only wanted a coffee and a small pastry. The woman behind the counter offered up a small lemon filled pastry that was about 2" x 2" which seemed the perfect amount to calm my sweet tooth so I happily accepted. My bill totaled up to $6.91. A bit on the high end I thought so I asked for a receipt after swiping my card. The woman printed one up but asked me to sign what was clearly my copy. At the bottom of the receipt it said customer copy but she argued with me that it was her copy. I tried to explain that mine doesn't have a line to sign on she quickly snatched it from the counter and put it in her drawer. I told her a still needed a receipt and she proceeded to ring up my friend who seemed to be enjoying my frustration. As soon as he paid for his Latte she ripped off the receipt tape from the register that simply calculates what costs she inputted and handed it to me. Turns out, my coffee was $3.20 the same price as my friends latte. Geez what a deal, I would have gotten a latte if I knew coffee was the same price, maybe she should take down the big ass sign on the wall just behind the register that lists the prices of coffee at $1.90 and latte and cappuccinos at $3.20. And for anyone that has ever been sitting in a nail salon getting a service done with all the employees speaking their native language, you'll understand how I felt as I was sitting there trying to enjoy my ridiculously priced cup of coffee and our lady behind the counter screaming a conversation to her friend that was sitting on one of the tables. Not in French by the way!
