It was overall a very good experience during a very scary time. I brought in my dog in the evening after she ate 120 pieces of gum. The team at Bluepearl very were open and quick. They immediately took her to the back and made her vomit which got rid of most of it. The front staff were very friendly and they were dealing with a full house of pets. I was very impressed with what I saw. After I filled out paperwork and waited about an hour I was able to meet with the Vet who suggested I keep my dog overnight and gave me a list of treatment. While it was expensive it was also understood since this was an emergency. I was able to visit my dog and then leave as we set a pick up time for the next morning.
The reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because of my phone call the next morning to them. I spent one of my first nights ever without my dog and I was super concerned when I woke up. I called BluePearl just to get an update before my scheduled time to pick her up to make sure she did good over night. The person who answered the phone was not compassionate at all. She kept repeating that i have a scheduled visit at 11:30 AM. I told her I actually have a pick up time at 11:30 am but either way I just wanted to know how my dog did and if she's okay. She then told me there was a change of shifts so she couldn't give me an update. All I wanted was to know my dog was breathing at this point and I was left in the dark. Trying one more time to get his information from her she once again repeated that I have a visit scheduled at 11:30. At that point I hung up and was then overly concerned until I picked up my dog. When I got my dog everything was good to go and everyone was courteous again.
Maybe the person who answered the phone was in a bad mood or maybe she was overly busy. Either way I took away just one star because of her. Otherwise this place was fantastic in a really tough situation.
