| - Honestly, I did not know who Toby Keith until I actually looked him up on the Internet while we were dining.
When we are in Las Vegas, I often pick the place to eat when I am with my family.
However, this time around, since we were Casino hopping via the Monorail; I capitulated to the group's choice.
We normally eat at the other establishments and we don't go to Bar & Grills. But since everyone was famished, and they wanted to eat NOW, they chose the closest restaurant to our stop.
We were greeted by the hostess as we walked through the entrance. She was very pleasant and nice. This seemingly impromptu choice by my family seemed like it would turn out to be a good choice. The place was brightly lit, clean, spacious, and there were not that many patrons so we had plenty of great seats to choose from.
The hostess grabbed the menus, exited from the booth that she was situated in, and led us to our table. Now, the punch line here is that as we followed her; none of us could help but notice the fact that she was wearing chaps and nothing was covering her rear except for very small (and nearly non-existent) panties.
Well, this was a great choice - Family!? I had this perplexed look on my face, as I stared onto my wife's and daughter's grinning faces!
Derrière's aside, and there was plenty of it, the food and the service were actually not bad. Our waitress was very prompt and attentive to our needs.
I had the All American Burger, that this monstrosity of a sandwich could've fed all of us. It seemed as if the quoted weight of this burger was post cooking, because It definitely was too big to hold with one hand - let alone put any part of it in my mouth.
My wife had the Ribeye, and she indicated that it was well seasoned, and properly prepared.
The rest had various sandwiches, BBQ Beans, and Mac & Cheese. Everything tasted good.
This seemingly humorous departure from our normal dining venues proved both fun, relaxing and surprisingly satisfying. And by the time we were ready to leave, the lights were dimmed and the crowds started to roll in. Apparently, after a certain time, there is a band that plays on the stage, and country dancing ensues.
We didn't stick around for that, but we left satisfied!
