| - This is a review of the "trying on" experience only, as I won't be getting my dress here.
My consultant was a super, super nice woman, but she was supremely hard to understand, and that was a little bit uncomfortable because I wasn't sure I was properly responding to what she was saying in the most polite way.
I enjoyed how much time my consultant let me try on dresses and that we got to try on whatever we wanted. At one point, I got quite faint/warm and she was really, really sweet about it; she opened the front door so some cool air blew in, she let me sit down in the dress I was wearing, and she even brought me a water bottle. That's just going above and beyond and I really appreciated it.
We did see some brides coming in for alterations during our appointment, one girl in particular had driven 2.5 hours to get there, and their wasn't even any work done on her dress yet - she was super pissed. Seems like their alteration department is a nightmare. I could see why someone would find their dress here, the prices are reasonable and it's a great location, but I personally wasn't completely sold on the experience.
Keep in mind that the change rooms are just behind a curtain and I found my curtain never fully closed, and there were a lot of other people including children and men in the shop, so if you are a more shy person, you may want to have someone hold the curtain closed from the outside.
