The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming upon arrival. We were unable to get into our room, and the gentleman at the front desk had to come show us how to properly open the door. This called for a strong shoulder and a hard push while holding the door knob handle down the whole time. Good thing my husband was there, because that was rough. We had bugs in the corner of our bathroom behind the toilet, and a commode that made a loud noise as if it wasn't level on the ground. The mattress on the fold out couch was so dirty that we didn't even use and instead made a pallet on the floor. The breakfast was so-so, the lady tending to it was very nice but never cleaned or restocked the entire time we were there which made it difficult for other guests to enjoy since they were constantly asking for food. The coffee was only warm in one of the canisters, and to get any cream or sugar - you had to look beyond the aluminum foiled basket (that was supposed to be the waste basket) filled with trash. For the $200+ price we paid a night, I would expect much better, especially from Mariott. Last but not least, expect the cleaning service to arrive around 8am in some rooms... don't forget your 'Do Not Disturb' sign!
